2009 Custom Black JK Rubicon

This 2009 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited came into our Jeepyard stock. The owner wanted to give the Jeep an aggressive offroad look. We started off by giving this monster a 4" Skyjacker suspension lift and some more aggresive tires and wheels. We chose the Toyo Open Country MT tires which perform great on and offroad and have a much more aggressive look and tread than the stock BFG Mud Terrain Tires. The rims that we helped the customer find are ProComp 7089s which helped keep the Jeep's blacked out look while adding some personality. We also swapped out the stock 4.10 gears in the Dana 44 Rubicon axles for 5.13 Superior gears. The customer told us right off the bat that they would be wheeling in this Jeep so we added some Xenon fender flares for more tire clearance, some KC Hilites mounted on the windshield for visibility at night in he woods and a Superwinch EPi 9.0s. We completed this build with an AEV Snorkel, a Warn Front Tube Bumpers with winch plate and an Or-Fab Rear Tire / Gerry can carrier. Hit up the photos below for some closeups and action shots.
